3rd shift Maintenance Technician (8 pm – 6 am)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by performing scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Repairs and replaces industrial machines and mechanical components such as motors, blowers, pumps, gear boxes, bearings, seals, belts, etc.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Repairs and replaces faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, circuit boards, fuses, etc.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

- Industrial Maintenance Certification or Experience Equivalent
- Two or more years of hands-on maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC's, low voltage and 3-phase electrical systems.
- Ability to read and follow mechanical drawings, instruction manuals and safety rules and procedures.
- Ability to drive a forklift and other equipment.
- Requires walking & standing entire shift; ability to lift 40 pounds; frequent reaching below, at or above shoulder level, stooping, bending, crawling, climbing, and gripping.
Experience Requirements:
- One year of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment OR recent trade school graduate.
- Knowledge and experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, air compressor systems, hydraulics and PLC
