Location: Arvada, CO

Status: Full-time

Schedule: M-F 8-5

Pay Range: $74,339.20 - $83,740.80 annual

Supplemental Pay: Supplemental pay based on position, schedule and/or availability: Paid Mileage/Shift Diffs/Stipends/Overtime

Mileage and Expense Reimbursement: Sixty-two and a half cents per mile – one of the highest in the industry!

Rewarding Work You Will Do:

Responsible for performing and supporting quality nursing care by supervising staff in clinic settings and assisting in the management of medical foot care clinics, supporting the immunization clinics as needed, and assist with the volunteer program as needed.

  • Identifies and evaluates clinical procedures and/or system functions that require improvement or re-design to assure excellent quality patient care. Coordinates and assess utilization of services and access to care, as well as the development and implementation of appropriate educational programs related to QI findings.
  • Supervises nursing staff in clinical settings. Ensures staff competency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Serves as a resource to nurses for quality issues; coordinates occurrence incidents and reports with Department Manager.
  • Works with nursing staff and collaborates with manager to identify educational topics and training needs for nursing staff.
  • Provides an ongoing assessment and overview of the operational efficiency of medical foot care clinics and collaborates with manager to assist department in maintaining sustainability.

What We Are Going To Love About You:

  • Minimum Education: Completion of an educational program for Nursing, approved by the National League for Nursing.
  • Minimum Experience: Three to five years nursing experience as an RN, preferably in ambulatory care settings or home health. Experience with QI and implementation of educational programs is preferred.
  • Required License: Current Colorado RN license or license from state of primary residence if participating in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). Valid Colorado state driver’s license and proof of auto insurance. Current CPR certification (for Pathways, The Denver Hospice and Pikes Peak affiliates). CPR must be provided and/or obtained within 14 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift/push/pull minimum of 25 lbs.

Care Synergy provides mission support services to better equip Colorado Visiting Nurse Association to operate as a distinct and independent organization while working together to share best practices and serve more Coloradans along the Front Range.
