Woodlands Market, Marin and San Francisco's premier gourmet grocery store, has an opening for Nutrition and Wellness Buyer.

The Nutrition and Wellness Buyer is responsible for ensuring that the overall category product mix including new item selection and discontinued items is consistent with Woodlands brand at all stores. This position is also responsible for feet on the floor management of the Nutrition and Wellness Department at our Tiburon store.

• Ensure product mix at all stores meets Woodlands brand expectations as well as being relevant with industry trends.
• Maintain department product levels (stocking) and ordering.
• Receive, count, scan, check product quality, and quantify all department goods.
• Remain current on industry trends and new products.
• Ensure that invoices are complete and that pricing matches vendors.

• Ensure that product information (prices, UPC codes, etc) are input into system.
• Provide information to customers requesting special orders or out-of-stock items.
• Receive UPS/Fed Ex items, stock item and or transfer to appropriate individuals.
• Maintain HABA aisle cleanliness and orderliness.
• Complete documentation for returned items and ensure that vendors pick up credit returns.

• Meet and coordinate with vendors and distributors regarding new/old products, stock levels, and delivery schedules.
• Provide a resource, answer questions, aid in customers’ product selection.

Requirements:

• Effective verbal, sales, and customer service skills.

• In-depth knowledge of HABA products.
• Experience with scanning gun.

• Able to prioritize work and handle multiple, concurrent tasks.

• Ability to educate and inform staff and customers.
• Administrative skills, i.e.: ordering, scheduling, invoice processing
• Ability to bend at the knee, and to lift up to 20 lbs.
