Office Administrative Assistant (OAA)

Trailer Estates Park & Recreation District is located in Bradenton, Florida at 1903-69th Ave W. 34207 and is seeking a full time Office Administrative Assistant who will perform accounting, bookkeeping, and receptionist duties.

The OAA will assist and provide backup to the Office Manager as needed.

Details: This is a Full-Time, benefited position, Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm at our offices in Bradenton. The salary for this position is $41,500.00 per year with Medical, Dental, and Simple Retirement Plan. There are 7 paid Holidays, and PTO is issued monthly.

Skills Required:

  • Advanced QuickBooks abilities is essential in this position
  • Accounting & Bookkeeping knowledge is required
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills are required
  • Assemble materials for Newsletter, input into layout/design format
  • Schedule reservations for activities/clubs per residents’ requests
  • Maintain files regarding properties, owners and residents of the District
  • Attention to detail and procedures

Duties:

  • Manages Reception Window as needed
  • Answers phones and email as required
  • Assist owners/residents with registration, FOB updates, and general inquiries
  • Takes minutes as required in Board Meetings and Workshops
  • Work in a fast pace, seasonal environment
  • Provide support services to Park Manager and Chairperson as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by Park Manager or Chairperson
  • Handles Marina & Storage Lot Leases and Billing
  • Handles office supply requests and ordering
