We are currently seeking an Office Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our Home Office. Office Administrators perform a variety of administrative and organizational tasks as well as being extremely organized and an effective communicator, which will allow the rest of the crew to get their jobs done well, you don’t miss a beat!
What we will ask of you:
- Consistently answer and direct phone calls, responding to all inquiries within 24 hours.
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
- Order and maintain appropriate stock of office supplies as needed.
- Maintain restaurant and hotel contact lists and communicate changes to Home Office.
- Miscellaneous tasks that may include scanning, copying, filing and/or storing accounting related document.
- Assist the Home Office employees as needed or any other assigned duty deemed necessary by supervisor.
- Provide assistance with general housekeeping.
- Provide administrative support to Home Office team; this may include preparing paperwork (forms, reports and schedules) or proofing paperwork.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and/or 1+ year of administrative experience preferred.
- College degree
- Fast learner who can understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Strong computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
