Office Assistant for a Merch & Branding Company Job at Flavour Gallery
We are looking for a highly driven, detail oriented and solution focused individual who will assist our management team with accomplishing a wide array of tasks.
Our company designs and produces apparel, headwear, accessories and other branded merchandise for restaurants, hotels, food/beverage brands, wineries, large festivals and celebrity chefs. We work in a creative, fast paced, highly detailed and casual environment and need someone who is a quick learner, sharp, detailed and able to adapt and overcome new challenges as they arise.
DESCRIPTION
This position will be both remote and on site. You will be working closely with the owners of the company and reporting directly to them. The job includes assisting with everything from office organizational tasks, data entry into software, inventory checks, travel coordination, creating check lists, and preparing for events.
Tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
- Internal communication with team and external communication with clients or vendors
- Managing projects and tasks using the ASANA app
- Coordinating Shipping through FedEx, UPS and USPS
- Preparing for product and supplies for events
- Setting up event activations
- Preparing VIP gift boxes for promotional purposes
- Conducting inventory checks, updating Shopify and organizing warehouse
- Supporting the company owners with a variety of other business and personal tasks
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:
- Genuine interest in growing a business/entrepreneurship
- 4 year degree in Business Admin, Marketing, Communication Studies or other related fields
- Prior experience as an Merchandise Coordinator, Executive Assistant or Office Manager
- Knowledge and experience with Google Suite, MS Office, Shopify, Asana
- Experience with developing and formatting spreadsheets
- Must be a superb communicator - written, visual and verbal (proper grammar is expected and required)
- Must be able to formulate processes and organize projects from scratch
- Needs to be able to be resourceful and budget conscious
- Must have own laptop and insured automobile when running errands on behalf of office
- Must be able to safely pick up and/or move boxes from time to time that may weight up to 40-50 lbs.
- Must be able to travel throughout the United States
- Music industry experience and/or merch company experience is a huge plus
- Must be comfortable working around office dogs : )
