Contractors Choice is looking for an Office Assistant for General Accounting and Human Resources to join our team in our Cincinnati office. This person will manage all aspects of Accounts Payable and HR duties. 30 to 40 hours per week with benefits..
The ideal candidate has a background in accounting and HR. Excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Payroll Responsibilities include:
- Match vendor invoices w/ PO
- Data entry of AP invoices
- Process vendor payment via check, ACH, vendor portal, etc.
- Manage tax payments/returns
- Keep track of credits from vendors
- HR Responsibilities include:
- Payroll Data Entry
- Assist with new employee hiring, onboarding
- Manage a number of HR administrative duties
- Manage HR compliance (Healthcare, DOT, 401k etc.)
- Track employee time off
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience in accounts payable and HR related duties
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Ability to handle information confidentially
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Quick Books is helpful
- Experience meeting regular deadlines
