Washington Medical Transportation (WMT) is a Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) company in North Englewood MD. It is in Prince George’s County. It is right off the beltway across Brightseat Rd.

WMT is Transportation Company that is going to have numerous Stretcher/Wheelchair Vans and Ambulances. There will be Paramedic/EMT drivers that are going to help transport patients from the Nursing Homes to doctors appointments and or to the Hospital in a Non-911 fashion.

I have taken the license through Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Commission (WMATC) to provide services in PG county, Montgomery county, Washington DC, Fairfax and Arlington County.

The Nursing Homes will have a facility portal to schedule transportations once they are contracted with WMT. The Wheelchair/Stretcher transportation services are going to be extended to the community as well. I am in the process of building an app (iOS and Android) similar to an Uber app for people in the community. They can download the app for free and set up the transportations and make effortless credit card payments through the app.

All the drivers will have a driver app as well. They will be able to sign in and look at their daily schedule through the app. I plan to become a Medicare and Medicaid provider so i could bill the respective insurance for the services provided.

The office software will have a list of all the Nursing Homes and their scheduled pick up and drop off appointments. It will also have a list of all the EMT Tech's working in the company. It will have a live map showing where each driver is. In addition the office software will be able to generate an Invoices for Nursing Homes at the end of the month.

It will require 5-7 days of online training to get used to the office software. I am looking for a computer savvy manager who will be responsible enough to manage the whole show. The manager will also be coming with me to get the contracts signed by all the Nursing Homes. The office manager will help me market the company and come out with brighter ideas to better the company.
