Envirocon Inc. is a landscaping and snow removal company founded in 1999. We operate in the Southeastern Wisconsin area, more specifically, areas include East Troy, Mukwonago, North Prairie, downtown Milwaukee, and the surrounding communities. Envirocon’s focus is on the beautification of residential and commercial properties, and our goal is to service our properties with the utmost professionalism and care possible.

The landscaping season requires our company to run many service branches and operations simultaneously; the office manager we are looking for must be adaptive and able to multitask. Our different crews/teams allow us to tackle everything from large hardscape construction projects to weekly mowing services and everything in between. This position is integral in allowing all daily operations to run smoothly.

During the snow removal season, we mainly focus our efforts to serving commercial accounts in the downtown Milwaukee area. The office manager’s attentiveness to detail in services provided empowers the team to be just as diligent.

Job responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Day-to-day responsibilities include A/P, A/R, job invoicing, and setting up vendors, clients, and projects.
  • Prepare, maintain, and collect logs for maintenance, snow removal, and spraying crews.
  • Order shop supplies, vehicle parts, and project materials
  • Track data for landscape maintenance and snow removal services for executive analysis.
  • Account management - preparing and maintaining seasonal contracts and providing communication between crew leaders and residential and commercial clients.
  • Monitor GPS truck tracking system.
  • Monitor insurance needs by working with the broker to track equipment inventory, and to report and track job-related injuries and incidents.
  • Assist in the recruitment of new employees and perform potential employee background checks.
  • Maintain labor law and state and federal regulation postings.
  • Ensure all past-due accounts are addressed.
  • Collect credit card receipts and report expenses to the appropriate account.
  • Submit monthly sales tax reports to the state.
  • Update and maintain the website.

Necessary Skills

  • Accounting and finance background
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word and Outlook), QuickBooks, and Adobe DocuSign
  • Detailed Focused
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills

This is a part-time position (25-30 hours/week).
