The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an Onshore Documentation Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
  • MD Doc Collections Specialist position qualifies physician related documentation based on third party payers’ requirements
  • Acts as the liaison between internal and external customer, 3M/KCI and third-party payer to ensure the order meets regulatory and payer requirements
  • Obtain and analyze required documentation for clean billing of claims
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • One (1) year of outbound call center experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • One (1) year of healthcare experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and email.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
