The Corporate Communications Coordinator provides support to the Senior Manager, External Communications and DVP, Corporate Communications. They will focus on identifying and creating compelling content to promote the business to various audiences while amplifying traditional media strategies. The Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the company’s corporate social presence.

You Have:
University degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism or a related discipline or diploma or/certification in corporate communications or public relations
1 - 2 years of experience in Communications or Public Relations
Experience working directly with the media and strong understanding of journalist timelines and requirements
Well-versed on current events, emerging trends and have a passion for growing brands through storytelling
Superior writing skills, including an ability to simplify concepts and tailor messaging for specific audiences
Strong organizational skills, ability to produce high-quality content while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
Manage and execute media monitoring and tracking
Understanding of social media platforms, including LinkedIn
A strong sense of ownership and personal responsibility
A high degree of professionalism and strong interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work well both independently and as member of a team
Demonstrated project management experience
High proficiency with GSuite, PowerPoint
Writing samples required

As The Coordinator, Communications you will:
Research and draft content for various types of materials including social content, press releases, briefing documents, etc.
Manage media monitoring, tracking and company-wide subscriptions
Contribute to a variety of corporate social media projects (LinkedIn) including organic content creation, strategy, execution
Project manage multiple tasks from conception to completion ensuring deadlines are met on time
Develop tracking metrics to measure impact of media coverage and LinkedIn engagement
Research media opportunities and speaking engagements, summarizing for upcoming opportunities
Own LinkedIn content calendar in partnership with HR
Media list management
Executive summaries for major company initiatives
Manage team content/image bank
