Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Mid-Level Manufacturing Operations Analyst (1st Shift) to join Fabrication’s BPS Staffing team based out of Auburn, WA.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and diverse team. In this role, you will partner with our Manufacturing Business Unit Staffing Leaders to hire their teams to deliver the best commercial airplane products in the world. Partner with Global Talent Acquisition and Workforce Management Integration to support the hiring process. Collaborate with Joint Programs on developing or updating Career Guides and ERT plans. You will help drive Skill Team planning and decision making, operations, and business insights up and down the BCA value stream.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is to support staffing in Fabrication and BCA Fabrication and Electrical Skill Team.
Collaborating with MBUs on the hiring process from requisition, candidate pools, scheduling and supporting interview.
Working with Skill Team and Joint Programs on career guide reviews.
Helping training team on incoming employees.
Conducts assessments of staffing processes and practices to ensure standardized across BCA.
Analyzes and interprets data.
Provides feedback on assessment results.
Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes.
Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.
Works under general direction.
Work will primarily occur on 1st shift, while occasionally also supporting 2nd and 3rd shifts.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.
Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
Willing and able to work a variable shift.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Staffing or skill team experience with manufacturing hourly skills.
3+ years’ experience in the aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing industry.
3+ years’ Lean and Problem-solving experience.
3+ years’ experience working with cross-functional teams.
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
