The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Casa Esperanza a Hospital Hospitality House and is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating House operations. Includes oversight of guest relations, volunteers, facility management, housekeeping and compliance with state and federal regulations. Directly supervises our Family Care team staff and Facility Coordinator. Hires, provides new employee orientation and training. Sets work schedules and duties to ensure appropriate staffing for all hours of operation and make certain the Family Care Team program provides the highest level of service to guest families. Manages the Accounts Payable with bookkeeper. This position will also recruit and schedule activities to promote awareness of Casa Esperanza at appropriate community and statewide venues. This position keeps track of statistics for grant reporting. This position will work closely with the Executive Director and Development Director.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with social workers, doctors, nurses and other hospital partner staff. Develop, document and implement House program policies and procedures. Develop and implement long and short term operational goals. This position also participates in a 24/7 on call rotation to respond to program-related emergency situations and provide support to House staff as needed.
Bachelor Degree preferred and/or relevant experience in the health, social services or hospitality field. Minimum 2 years management experience and working in a non-profit environment. Proficient with Microsoft office programs, as well as an ability to quickly learn agency databases. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to people of diverse backgrounds and families experiencing high stress. Bilingual preferred.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
