Operations Manager, Premier Impact E-commerce Fashion Brand Job at Marcella NYC

Marcella NYC Boston, MA

Marcella is a fast-growing, impact-driven dtc e-commerce brand selling designer women’s fashion within reach. After starting as the overall #2 grossing fashion brand on the Etsy platform, the company began scaling beyond in late 2019 and has experienced a 1000%+ revenue increase in the past 24 months, becoming one of America's fastest growing apparel brands. Striving to rethink the ethics of fashion for the benefit of women and girls globally, we embrace the mission of Design That Matters™, founded on the three pillars of democratizing design, ethical production and social impact and are responsible for supporting over 500,000 school days for marginalized girls globally.

Marcella is looking to appoint an Operations Coordinator to work at its Northampton, MA office (with a hybrid in-person/virtual schedule a possibility). Directly reporting into the company’s co-owners (but with the possibility of reporting into a Global COO if and when Marcella may hire one) and working within the overall global 50+ person team day-to-day, you will be leading and/or helping to manage myriad aspects of the company’s continuing efforts to scale Marcella. Approximately 60% to 70% of your time will involve undertaking operations management across technology, logistics and company administration with both a national and/or international scope - efforts directed overall in one way or another at scaling further Marcella’s commercial footprint. Up to 30% to 40% of your time will involve tactical work relating to the intersection of the company’s global marketing efforts and the day-to-day experience of its global customer base, mainly coordinating various critical company tactical and/or trouble-shooting initiatives.

If you’re an energetic and self-motivated individual who is passionate about continuing to help develop a brand of which its employees and customers are supremely proud, this is the position for you!

  • Helping to implement and then managing planned company software for fulfilling customer orders across different fulfillment centers in the U.S. and Europe;
  • Ad hoc management of major day-to-day logistical/customer base “blow-ups” (i.e. not one missing order, per se – handled by our CX team - but, more so, if 50 orders get misplaced at once by USPS and we need to manage the issue at an ad hoc management level);
