QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting for a Senior Operations / Research Analyst to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to support our C5ISR Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Division contract.

Duties:

• Performs professional and scientific work requiring the design, development and adaptation of mathematical and statistical modeling and scientific methods to analyze operational problems.
• Conduct market research and monitor threat capabilities to inform development operations and mitigate projected threat capabilities.
• Monitor development operations results to inform future development, activities, and technology insertion opportunities to maintain tactical resiliency of A-PNT systems against current and emerging threats.

Required Clearance/Other:

• ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19, per Executive Order 14042, subject to exemptions as required by law.

Qualifications:

• AS/AA degree or 2-year Technical School.
• At least ten (10) years’ experience.
• High School/GED and ten (10) years military experience, E5 or higher may substitute degree.

Travel:

Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.

Work Environment:

This position may be performed in a variety of locations, including but not limited to, commercial and/or government offices, test and integration labs, government facilities and depots, and test & evaluation and proving grounds.

Physical Demands:

Physical demands of this position include ability to:

• Be independently mobile.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
• Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as glasses/goggles (eyes), ear plugs/muffs (hearing), hard hats, breathing respirators/masks, and face masks (in response to government COVID-19 mandates).

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
