What will you be doing?
You will be joining the Orion Health Operations Service Team who monitor support for critical business applications and services for our Clients and users operating in a 24 x 7 Service Center.
You will be working a shift of 9pm MST – 7am MST, 4 days a week (Wednesday-Saturday)
This involves proactively and reactively responding to alerts, emails, phone calls and ticket queue's in order to resolve, escalate, and communicate within established SLAs.
Some of what you'll do:
- Email communications for scheduled maintenance, trouble tickets, and incidents
- Stand-up and run bridge calls for priority incident management
- Conduct first call resolution for password resets, user account management, renew certs, license request, VPN management, service restarts, disk space cleanup, and onboarding new clients.
- Triage proactive/reactive alerts and escalate internally
- Process access request tickets
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical solutions related to Orion software products and software development industry standards
- Follow HIPAA security standards set by Orion Health when interacting with patient data
What you will bring to the role:
Experience: 2- 3 years application support, preferably within a SLA environment. Proven ability to maintain good relationships with teams, clients, and vendors. You will be experienced in documentation creation and performance monitoring.
Skills: Network Protocols, Linux/Unix, Windows, Mac, Active Directory, Ticketing Systems. Networking fundamentals (http/https, tcp/ip, firewalls, proxies, ftp/sftp, ssh. ) Application Performance Monitoring (java performance analysis, thread dump analysis, heap dump analysis)
Characteristics: You will possess initiative and adaptability, a strong team and work ethic, you will be comfortable operating within specified boundaries, but also able to work independently and you will definately be customer focussed, with a genuine desire to assist. You will be flexible to work on a shift basis and overtime when required.
Qualifications: Associates/Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent degree and/or equivalent work experience preferred. ITIL knowledge or certification preferred.
