Operations Supervisor Job at Syncreon
We are looking for an experienced 2nd Shift (Monday- Thursday) Outbound Operations Supervisor at our Fairburn Ga. location to plan, direct and coordinate the operations at the facility. You will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, and efficiency through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. It's an exciting time to join the syncreon team!
About the Role
How you will contribute
Plan, coordinate work, train, motivate, monitor and evaluate performance of team members; ensure their ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials.
Monitor and measure team member performance for accuracy and document on daily production metrics.
Identify and eliminate safety and housekeeping hazards to minimize workplace accidents.
Ensure compliance of employees to processes, work instructions, standard work and work elements.
Liaise with materials department to ensure on time receipt and shipment of material.
Able to work required scheduled deemed necessary to meet the production goals and Key Performance Indicators of the site. Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the business.

Your Key Qualifications
- HS Diploma/GED required
- Experience supervising in an Automotive, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain/Logistics facility.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience and or training regarding the Occupational Health & Safety, 5S, Lean Methodologies preferred.
- Quality systems knowledge - to a reasonable level be able to monitor staff performance and costs within the department (including, but not limited to: time-keeping, quality, productivity, etc.)

- Liaise with operation’s departments to ensure on time receipt and shipment of material.
- Manager work load/capacity levels
- Order management
- Investigate and Escalate any issues flagged up by, to include productivity losses, quality issues and supplier nonconformance
- Prepare and maintain accurate KPI’s supporting departmental objectives
- Other duties as assigned.
Your Key Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills at all levels within Syncreon and the Customer supply base
- Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
- Experience with Yard management systems
- Experience with Warehouse management systems
- Good communication skills both written and verbal, strong interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Experience with SAP within supply chain functions is preferable
- Experience supervising in a Supply Chain/Logistics facility.
- Experience and or training regarding the Occupational Health & Safety, 5S, Lean Methodologies preferred.
