Optometric Technician Job at Erdey Searcy Eye Group
Are you an experienced Optometric Technician wanting to further your skills and knowledge? Join us at Erdey Searcy Eye Group! Busy Ophthalmology practice looking to add technicians to the team.
We are seeking full time individuals that like working in a fast-paced environment, have a service-oriented personality, and available to work Monday through Friday.
After orientation and training daily task will include:
- Efficient and accurate at interviewing patients and documenting histories.
- Ability to ensure charts are updated and accurate.
- Demonstrating working knowledge of eye anatomy, disease and ocular medications.
- Experienced with HVF, Lensometry, Keratometry, Tonometry, Visual Fields, Amslers,
- Muscle Fields, Pupil Exams, and Refracting.
- Proficient with EMR computer programs.
- Various diagnostic tests (Fundus photos, OCT, Visuals)
Requirements
The successful candidate will have experience with
- Refractions
- checking vision, identifying chief complaint
- IOP
- various diagnostic tests (Fundus photos, OCT, Visuals)
