Overview:
Learning Resources is a dedicated, dynamic and mighty team of healers who help drive System initiatives and functions. We design, develop and deliver leadership and healer training and education, as well as create programs that support system initiatives and healer competencies. We work with Human Resources in assisting departments and leaders with talent and performance management, and we lead the system in orienting and onboarding all new healers. We are responsible for the administration and utilization of our LMS and Instructional Design needs, and we manage a vibrant student program where more than 1000 students complete their clinical and observation requirements. While each member of our team has a specific area they are responsible for, our entire team is committed to ensuring our Mission, to Equip Healers with learning opportunities that foster personal growth and enhance the patient experience is lived out in our ICARE values and The Norman Way.
Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates a plan for assessing and identifying the learning needs of the organization.
  • Partners with system leadership and HR to develop education and organizational structure to target specific initiatives within the health system, and in alignment with and reflecting of competencies and performane management goals.
  • Develops educational programs to assist in the equipping of healers/leaders.
  • Organizes, selects, develops, implements, evaluates, teaches and maintains educational opportunities for leadership
  • Assists in coordinating the use of the Learning Resources Training Center.

Qualifications:
Education

Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Instructional Design or other related field. Master's degree in education preferred.

Experience

Minimum of two years experience in adult education, and or training and development, with experience in Instructional Design, as well as classroom instruction. Prefer healthcare related experience.

Certification / Licensure

None Required. Preference given to certification in Instructional Design and Adobe Captivate Certification. Certification to teach Crucial Conversations helpful
