Christian Family Solutions is a faith-based, religious organization committed to our mission, healing and helping people in need through the ministry of Jesus Christ. As more and more people seek help with difficult issues, we want to be the counseling resource they turn to for hope, healing, and peace.

We are recruiting a full-time or part time outpatient therapist to provide services through our Lakeville Clinic. We are actively seeking counselors who are members of a WELS, ELS, or confessional Lutheran church and have a strong desire to learn more about integrating Christian counseling practices based on these principles.

What you will be doing

Providing Christian based counseling services in person at a Christian Family Solutions clinic or through a secure video connection during telehealth sessions.

Quality mental health delivered with integrity is the first commitment we make to our clients. An additional commitment we make is to offer the option of Christian faith principles integrated with a client’s treatment, as needed and desired by the client. Research has proven that such faith-integrated treatment is effective and has longer lasting impact. It is an approach we are committed to delivering, and we train our staff to provide it. You will work in a unique environment where both your professional skills and your faith can grow.

You have the flexibility to choose the times you provide services. You can schedule appointments mornings, evenings, nights, or weekends.

The applicant selected, if wanting full time hours, will be eligible for Christian Family Solutions’ full benefits package. This package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, short and long term disability, 401(K) plan and match policy, and PTO. Full time hours for this position are 8:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday.

• A Master’s degree in Human Services field.
• Active member of a WELS or ELS or confessional Lutheran church preferred.
• Willingness to support the mission of Christian Family Solutions.
• Must have required hours of supervised clinical experience or be working toward the completion of supervised hours, per state requirements.
• Must be certified or willing to obtain certification as a Board Certified TeleMental Health Provider (DC-TMH).
• A high degree of responsibility in maintaining confidentiality in all matters pertaining to work.
• Health and physical stamina necessary to carry out responsibilities.
• Willing to uphold a biblical worldview in the clinical setting.
