Role Description: In this role the Outpatient Therapist will provide diagnostic assessments and individual, family and group psychotherapy to our clients. Holcomb serves a diverse population, covering the entire age and diagnostic spectrum.

Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems is seeking to hire Outpatient Therapists in Kennett Square, PA.

Position specifics: FT/PT available, evening/Saturday hours.

Location: Kennett Square, PA

Program: MHOP (Mental Health Out Patient)

Role Description: In this role the Outpatient Therapist will conduct individual, group and family therapy, as clinically appropriate, with outpatient clients.

Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

• Conduct formal clinical assessments of clients upon admission.

• Develop and oversee the implementation of treatment plans.

• Provide crisis assessment and stabilization services, as clinically necessary.

• Perform substance abuse treatment as defined by the program description.

• Conduct individual, family or group therapy, as clinically indicated, including maintaining

• Participate in all required individual and peer supervision, as well as all applicable

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including but not limited to progress notes,

• Provide quality services based on established best practice principles of care.

• Maintain professional relationship with clients, payers and community support service representatives.

• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other local providers, client

• Participate in agency committees to develop and implement program/service enhancement.

• Maintain professional licensure and/or certification in the designated state(s) of service.

Minimum Education Required: Master’s degree in a clinical discipline for mental health therapists. All degree(s) must be from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.

Minimum Experience required: One year of experience in the behavioral health field for mental health therapists.

Certifications Preferred : Licensed or certification Preferred (LPC, LCSW, PsyD). Co-occurring professional certification strongly encouraged.

Clearances Required: Pennsylvania Child Abuse clearance, Criminal clearance, and Fingerprint based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.

Holcomb offers a generous benefit package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits are available the first day of a new month after completing 30 days of employment.
