Outside Sales Representative
Oliver Technologies is a leading manufacturer and distributor of Manufactured Housing foundation material. We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to grow sales in an expanding territory in our southern region. This market includes but is not limited to Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with existing accounts, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. The Representative will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue. If you have prior experience in outside sales and a desire to expand your career, we want to hear from you. This position requires extensive travel and being away from home 3-4 nights per week. The majority of travel is done in a company car but occasional flight travel is required. This position requires a person to be self-motivated and familiar with territory planning, setting and achieving both personal and professional goals and the ability to think critically.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver's License (Required)
  • Outside sales experience: 2 years (Required)
  • Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)
  • Manufactured Housing/ Construction Experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize all available resources to reach out to customer leads and turn those leads into lifetime business partners
  • Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company’s marketing presence within the territory
  • Give in-person sales presentations to potential accounts
  • Give sales presentations via phone/computer
  • Identify and address sales opportunities
  • Attend industry trade shows and Installation Classes to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing accounts
  • Consistently Update lead/ account information in the CRM
  • Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth
  • Could be required to perform hands on work on a job site

Skills

  • Outside Sales Experience
  • Ability to Travel (up to 4 days per week, 3 Weeks per month, should be home most Fridays and Weekends)
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of CRM software
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in the Manufactured Housing Industry a plus
  • Team Player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: On average, our sales team earns $85+/annually including commissions with no commission cap.
Weekly Base Salary plus commission. On average, our sales team earns $85k+/ annually including commissions with no commission cap.
