With this acquisition, Saint-Gobain reinforced its worldwide leadership in light and sustainable construction by becoming the top siding player in Canada we are excited to add new complimentary products to our broad offering of exterior building solutions.

We are currently seeking Inspector/Packers at our vinyl siding, manufacturing facility in Richford, VT. This is an opportunity to become part of a family friendly team, in an expanding company, with room for advancement.

Shifts available: 4pm-12am and 12am-8am
Compensation: Starting $17.75 plus shift differential

*this position does offer the opportunity to grow and become a machine operator at an increased rate*

Responsibilities:

• Package all products properly and check to ensure the nesting, piece count, box labels, barcodes, UPC labels (if applied), and date stamps are correct
• Record run number stamp, employee stamp, and box number on all boxes packed
• Inspect all products for visual and physical defect, to ensure 100% quality
• Notify the Operator, Q/A tech, or Supervisor of any quality problems found
• Assist Operator when starting up/shutting down a line or during line problems
• Ongoing cleaning of your area, by keeping it swept, and free of trip hazards
• Other duties as assigned by the shift Supervisor

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school or equivalent
• Production experience
• Ability to lift/move/push/pull heavy objects up to 60lbs
• Flexibility to adjust daily work flow, to complete tasks
