CPSFL has an exciting opportunity for a Parent Coach for a full-time position at BRIDGES at Riviera Beach. The purpose of BRIDGES is to enhance parental & community capacity in targeted neighborhoods around increasing healthy births, decreasing child abuse and neglect, increasing school readiness and increasing rates for 3rd grade children reading on grade level.
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field of Social Services; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Be bilingual.
- Be able to help parents become, and remain committed to, actively supporting their children’s learning and development.
- Have experience working with children and families with psychological, behavioral, and/or psychosocial issues.
- Have a strong understanding of the stages of early childhood growth and development.
- Demonstrate cultural competence and awareness of the socio-cultural characteristics of clients served.
- Possesses organizational skills necessary to maintain client records.
