Part Time: After School Youth Development Specialist Job at Hephzibah Children’s Association
On-Site at Oak Park Public School
The Day Care Program is accepting applications for the 2022-23 school year for nurturing individuals to provide care and supervision of 5-11-year-old children in the After-School Day Care program on site at Oak Park public schools.
The days and hours are Monday-Friday 2:30-6:00 pm with a 2:00 pm start on Wednesdays. May work additional hours on school holidays, and to attend meetings. Plan and supervise arts and crafts, indoor & outdoor play, games, sports, snack, homework help and more. Program starts in mid-August for the 2022-23 school year.
Requirements include:
- College coursework in education, recreation, social work, or related fields desired.
- Experience working with children.
- Sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in the staff and client population.
