Full Job Description
The Atlantic Highlands Yacht Club is seeking a detail oriented, data-driven, part-time bookkeeper to track and manage the organization’s financial data. The ideal candidate is a team player, good with numbers and spreadsheets, organized, consistent, dependable, and honest in dealings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accounts Payable – Ability to work with accounts payable using QuickBooks and Paychex for payroll information.
- Handle weekly bank deposits and verify monthly bank statement reconciliations with the Treasurer.
- Work with the Treasurer to prepare monthly financial statements and other statements as needed.
- Ensure accuracy of accounting records.
- Familiar with the POS system to generate details of daily sales transactions as well as member and employee information
- Prepare appropriate and accurate accounting records for our Accountant
Qualifications:
-Three years minimum experience
-Associates degree or higher (Preferred)
-Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Products especially Excel, POS systems, Paychex.
-Home office preferred with occasional commute to the Club.
