PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Our Part - Time, Program Coordinator at West Dallas Boys & Girls Club

Manage /Coach /Facilitate youth programs and high quality and impactful service delivery, Training of staff, parent & school relations and membership attendance & participation. A typical part-time schedule for Club Coordinator while working with our team members and kids is within 1pm-7pm time frame, and the salary is $20 per hour, increase is optional for individuals with CDL driver’s license.

KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities in working with youth - Kinder - 12th grades):

Leadership
  • Ensure an environment, program services, and facilities that prepare youth for success
  • Communicate agency’s vision, mission and principles to members, businesses, and greater community
  • Maintain administrative and operational systems within policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of the Club’s Formula for Impact Action Plan
  • Adhere to quality improvement in areas identified in Formula for Impact Action Plan
  • Coordinate outcome driven program activities & resources
  • Ensure an outcome driven Club experience for all members and demonstrate targeted results on requested reports
  • Ensure Annual, Quarterly, and Weekly Plans are implemented for purpose of excellence
Facility Management
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal of facilities and grounds
  • Purchase and/or make arrangements to ensure necessary materials for program activities
  • Ensure immediate repairs of Club equipment/grounds/vehicles
Resources
  • Contribute to financial support by participating in speakers bureau as requested
  • Submit quality and accurate Annual, Quarterly, and Weekly Reports in a timely and professional manner
Programs
  • Ensure Program Planning, Implementation and Program Evaluation on all required Programs
  • Provide staff with professional development, ongoing feedback, and opportunities for improvement
  • Emphasize staff efforts around the outcome driven club experience and demonstrate targeted results on requested reports
  • Maintain membership and program participation expectations
  • Manage implementation of Project Learn throughout all Departments and Core Programs
  • Utilize Guidance and Discipline Plan to assist members with conflict resolution
  • Utilize technology provided for quality programming and reporting
Marketing Communications
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department for assistance with promoting Club Events
  • Develop Collaborative Partnerships with Schools, Churches and Greater Community
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintain a Clear Driving Record in order to drive organization’s 15 passenger vans.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.
RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal: Maintains close, daily contact with Club staff (professional and volunteer), Club members, and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/ instructions; instruct; and advise/counsel.

External: Maintains and share with immediate supervisor contact with external community groups, schools, members' parents and others to assist in resolving problems.

  • Competency in all club areas
  • Friendliness, enthusiasm, energy and creativity for motivating youth
  • Valid State Drivers License
  • Basic computer skills; detail oriented; ability and willingness to multitask; great communications skill both written and verbal
  • Strongly recommended COVID-19 Vaccination or a reasonable request.
