Assistant Parts Manager

This is a management position for our showroom Parts Department. This is a very hands on position in a fast-paced environment that will require superior organizational skills and incredible ability to multitask.
The Assistant Parts Manager’s daily duties include;
Creating purchase orders for orders to be placed
Placing daily parts orders for customers and stock
Correcting mistakes in receiving errors
Correcting and adjusting inventory
Reaching targeted sales goals provided by the General Manager
Delegating work to parts department employees
Overseeing backorder reports to ensure service and retail parts are arriving in a timely manner
Other duties include;
Placing seasonal stock orders based on previous year sales
Purging old/obsolete inventory via Ebay or annual vendor returns
Meeting with our vendors Salesmen to ensure we are buying on their best programs
Updating pricing in our business system when vendors supply new price files
Skills needed;
Organizational skills are a must
Ability to adapt to frequent seasonal and industry changes
Microsoft Office proficiency
3+ Years’ experience in a relevant Part’s industry with some management experience
