POSITION
ACRM is seek two (2) Patient Account Representatives to support our Accounts Receivable Department.
These positions are full time, Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day. The current location is our Atlanta-Perimeter office with the potential to work remotely a couple days a week based on performance and proven ability to work independantly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES of these positions can included but not limitied to:
- Responds to all patient phone calls, voicemails and emails
- Assist patients with appealing claim denials by providing supporting
- Creates account summaries and payment reports for patients
- Accepts patient payments via Veracity online payment system and provides patients with receipts/invoices as requested
- Responds to requests from payers for supporting documentation
- Files appeal letters with payer to secure reimbursement
- Files secondary claims after primary claim has been adjudicated
- Prints and reviews A/R reports for designated payers
- Processes insurance refunds
- Reviews refund requests from payer for accuracy and prepares refund request for management approval
- Files corrected claims and updates coding in NextGen per notification from clinical staff
- Creates corrected claim and files to payer with supporting documentation; creates insurance refund when applicable
- Creates account summaries and payment reports for patients
- Accepts patient payments via Veracity online payment system and provides patients with receipts/invoices as requested
- Post patient payments and other transactions necessary in NextGen
- Creates electronic statement file and submits electronic files to NextGen EDI
- Reviews NextGen statement report for accuracy and archives statements in NextGen
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Associates Degree required
- Minimum 2 years of medical office experience
- Excellent attendance and punctuality commitment
- Knowledge of insurance benefit terminology and be able to calculate financial responsibility based on benefit information
- Ability to obtain basic understanding of IVF+
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must be detailed oriented with ability to multi-task and work independently
