BayCare Clinic is looking for a Patient Accounts Supervisor to lead our Claims Resolution team! The primary hours for this role are flexible between the hours 7:00am-5:00pm with some work from home opportunity.

Description of Duties:
- Assists the team in researching denials from all payers.
- Awareness of payer-specific policies
- Identify problems or trends with payers and follows through to resolution, engaging Payor Contracting and Senior Patient Accounts Manager when necessary
- Attends all payer meetings
- Communicate priorities.
- Schedule and monitor tasks/projects.
- Responsible for monitoring and evaluating performance and productivity of staff.
- Responsible for staff development.
- Responsible for meeting performance requirements and goals.
- Responsible for accurate and timely month-end requirements.
- Respect and maintain confidentiality.
- Work in a safe, compliant, and ethical manner at all times.
- Coaches and guides staff relative to performance improvement measures.
- Facilitates change as necessary within department.
- Assigns and monitors the training and development of new employees.
- Ensures team compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, document, and implement projects as required to improve workflow efficiencies.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a patient accounts setting with knowledge of the patient account continuum, health insurance claims processing and insurance benefits, medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, RVU, coding, state and federal regulatory compliance laws, customer service, is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance principles and insurance contracts.
- Two to three years supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare field.
- Strong written and verbal skills with ability to communicate complex concepts. Problem solving skills, ability to systematically analyze problems, draw relevant conclusions, and devise appropriate courses of action.
- Able to strive for continuous improvement and manage change.
- Able to train claims resolution and patient accounts continuum with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
