Orleans Community Health Medina Hospital is seeking a PART TIME Service Representative to join our Registration Front Office Team located at Medina Hospital. If you like to engage with people, have a great personality and are detail-oriented then we’d love to talk with you!

Shift and Status

• Part Time Status with additional pick up shifts
• 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am
• 9% more pay after 3pm!
• Competitive pay and benefits package including health, dental, vision, pension and 403(b) plans!
• Up to thirty-five dollars per hour extra for additional shift pick ups!

Position Summary

The Patient Services Representative is our “admissions processor expert”, and first impressions of Orleans Community Health! The Patient Services Representative is responsible for the registration of patients and processing/resolution of registration reports. This position also managing the switchboard and communicates with internal and external customers. This position requires a drive for helping people, an extremely high level of organization, with the ability to prioritize on a daily basis. A vital part of our Admissions Team, this position must demonstrate professionalism in both dress and speech, along with proper phone etiquette and must demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to serve the public!

Requirements

• Keyboard experience (40-60 wpm).
• High school diploma; supplemented with one (1) year of related medical office experience.
• Successful completion of an accredited medical office training program may be substituted for the required one (1) year medical office experience.
• Professional in attitude, conduct, and appearance.
• Knowledge of various insurance requirements and medical terminology.
• Verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal/human relations skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
