M&M Custard, LLC is a proud franchisee of Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers. M&M, as we are commonly known, was founded in 2010. We opened our first location in Jefferson City, Missouri in May of 2012 which was quickly followed by our second location in June 2012 in Sedalia, Missouri.
Presently, the Company has 37 operating locations in 6 states with plans for continued growth throughout the Midwest including the St Louis Metro, Lexington, the Suburban Chicago Metro area and in Indiana. Our territory stretches from a large portion of Central Missouri to Illinois, southern Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. Our currently open locations are in Mid-Central Missouri, St. Louis/St. Charles County, Evansville and Central Indiana, Lexington / Owensboro / Hopkinsville / Paducah (Kentucky), Jackson, Tennessee, Suburban Chicago Metro and Southern Illinois.
We are growing and have one remaining store opening in the remaining weeks of 2022.

Title: Payroll Associate
Reports to: Senior Accounting Manager
Exempt Status: Hourly / Non-Exempt
Position Summary
The Payroll Associate position is a remote position (work from home) and is responsible for backing up our payroll administrator and will be responsible for performing all payroll functions on a regular basis. All deadlines must be met timely and with the highest degree of accuracy. This position requires attention to detail, Excel skills with an ability to problem-solve quickly and accurately. In addition to payroll functions, you will also be responsible for daily accounting functions related to transactions, invoicing, and special projects. The ideal candidate will live within the Kansas City Metro area, have experience with large payrolls, possess a reliable high speed internet connection, and have a work at home space conducive for business and safe storage of company assets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process all payroll functions for all employees (1,200 +)
- Completes invoice review to ensure coding and amounts are accurate and approves invoices for payment for store locations
- Reviews daily sales summaries for accuracy and document management of paid outs, deposits and credit card transactions.
- Documents use tax paid and records into accounting software.
- Reconciles information, reviews accounts for payment and completes credit applications, employment verifications and other accounting/office related functions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Organized, develops good time management skills.
- Always willing to learn and be receptive to coaching and constructive feedback.
- Maintains positive relationships and communicates effectively.

Physical Requirements:
- Daytime position with office work in a remote environment; must be commutable to the Overland Park area.
- Must be able to work up to an 8-hour shift to perform essential functions with occasional overtime.
- Able to communicate effectively.
