Has supervisory responsibility in instructing, assigning, directing and checking the work of the other configuration analysts or developers. Acts as expert technical resource to staff in all phases of the development and implementation process. Responsible for configuration/development. Provides guidance to staff, management and project teams in the area of business analysis and systems configuration. Measures and monitors progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time and meet expectations. Work with business stakeholders to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes. Interpret the outcomes into configurable solutions in . Coordinates the activities of the team with the business area and other IT sections (e.g., data, operations, QA, technical support, etc.). Builds strong partnerships across the enterprise to deliver. Manages business and IT stakeholders and acts as a liaison between business and IT. Possesses functional knowledge and skills reflective of a competent practitioner with the ability to deliver on work of highest technical complexity. Aides team members' elicitation efforts through help selecting approaches and identification of gaps / areas to explore. Identifies effectiveness of techniques on the fly and adjusts approach properly. Selects the appropriate tools and techniques based on assessment of the project and assignment objectives. Mentors team members to drive awareness of new approaches and improve execution of known techniques. Ability to structure and drive working and informational sessions that promote collaboration, achieve synergy, and achieve desired outcomes. Designs all aspects of meetings to ensure fast, effective accomplishment of objectives. Actively manages participants creating distractions / diversions counter to desired outcomes. Understanding and application of choices and big picture perspective. Identifies choices and improvement opportunities to better align own work with the direction and strategic priorities of the broader organization. Partner closely with Tech Leads to bridge the gap between configuration and code. Responsible for end to end delivery of solutions including: Establish, document implement, manage and monitor releases and ensure program-wide compliance for normal and emergency fixes. Make sure releases are delivered on time and meet expectations. Identify change management processes, all applicable stakeholders, release, notify, communicate and manage expectations through all phases of the release process.

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees.
