The Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) Coordinator is responsible for assisting the PQI Director in the continuous movement of the PQI structure by combining department reports and audits to produce an agency-wide outcome and output measures. These reports will support requirements for the agency as well as outside regulatory entities.
The PQI Coordinator will facilitate internal audits (as assigned by the PQI Director) and maintain audit documents that ensures external agency contractual and accreditation expectations and requirements are met. The incumbent will utilize agency-designated database systems to gather and analyze data needed for internal audits and agency reports.
The PQI Coordinator will work collaboratively with the PQI Director to articulate agency data, trends, and conclusions in the PQI standard reporting system. Also assist the PQI Director in ensuring that Self-Study Evidence and On-Site Evidence align with COA requirements. Work collaboratively with the PQI Director in the development of PQI reports and the dissemination of data to staff and stakeholders. Evaluate and monitor compliance to Medicaid regulations and policies and External Regulatory Standards (as assigned by the PQI Director).
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in an area related to research, evaluation, and outcomes or social services. Three years equivalent training and successful experience in performance quality improvement assurance in industry or human service
REQUIRED SKILLS: A background in behavioral health services involving children, youth, and families is preferred. Must possess excellent communication skills in written and verbal form. Proficiency with various software programs to include Microsoft Excel, Publisher, and Word. Must be able to pass standard background checks, including, drug screen, employment physical, SLED, DSS Central Registry, and Sex Offenders Registry.
