Personal Assistant / Project Manager Job at The Gables
In need of a positive and proactive Personal Assistant! The job includes assisting with interior design work, construction/renovation management/design, and home orginization work, amongst other family tasks and to-do's.

Terms:
- We're open to both part-time + full-time.
- Pay will be based on a 40-hour work week, but hours will not be counted. As long as we feel the proper amount of work is being done each week, you are FREE TO MAKE YOUR OWN SCHEDULE.
- Work may be remote whenever possible, but being in-person is required for many of the daily/weekly tasks (see below for examples of work).
- More freedom + trust will be given based on performance.
- PAID TIME OFF is virtually unlimited provided it is not abused + work is job responsibilities are not impeded.
- The trade for this incredibly flexible schedule is that you should always be semi-available for calls, emails or to help move projects forward, including nights, weekends or while being remote.
Example Job Duties (for a clearer scope of work):
- Schedule doctors appointments/lunch meetings/nights out/trips/etc.
- Order birthday/holiday/thank you gifts for friends/family/clients.
- Plan catering/drinks/decor for hosting friends at the house.
- Organize closets/cabinets/drawers.
- Shopping + stocking/organizing the pantry/fridge.
- Assist with meal prep/planning.
- Manage projects around the house + office (like built-in coffee/tea drawers).
- Organize/clear out garage; help plan home gym + tool bench.
- Plants/interior decor work/organization.
- Handle returns to amazon, target, etc.
- Run cars to car wash.
- Run errands.
- Help with photos/posts on social media.
- Connect with photographer to order prints from family portraits.
- Organize kids' toy baskets with labels.
- Order labels for kids' lunchboxes/clothes at school.
- Coordinate with electricians to set up smart lighting systems.
- Get keypads installed on side gates.
- Coordinate woodworkers to design/build out home office.
- Coordinate with pool guy to do some pool work.
- Coordinate with contractor to design/build kids' playhouse.
- Have custom roman shades made for windows.
- Research/find affordable black shaker cabinets for walk-in pantry.
- Measure/order base cabinets for master bath.
- Work with fence contractor to redesign a new fence that will meet city requirements/submit for permit + oversee build.
- Work with gardeners to help design + landscape yards.
- Wrong bathroom tile was delivered, arrange return + order new tile.
- Bath tub delivered cracked, arrange return + order replacement.
- Measure/count + order interior doors, smoke detectors, cabinet hardware, etc.
- Schedule inspections with city inspector.
- Review floorplans for a new construction apartment building, feedback on pros/cons of the floorplans vs. the local rental market.
- Help create a general design "look book" for our contractors + clients showing what newly built units should look like to max rent (materials, inspo, features, etc).
Future Growth Examples:

- Grow to position in real estate sales/leasing.
