Pharmacist in Charge, Full Time Job at RPh on the Go
RPh on the Go is actively searching for a Pharmacist in Charge in Crestview, FL. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, day shifts and possible Saturdays, day shift as well. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the compounding of medications, consulting with patients, applying clinical knowledge, and ensuring the efficient and accurate documentation of all compounding procedures. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the compounding process, including preparation, labeling, and dispensing of compounded medications
- Consult with patients and physicians to determine appropriate medication therapies and treatment plans
- Apply clinical knowledge to ensure accurate compounding procedures
- Supervise the preparation of high-quality compounded medications, including non-sterile compounds
- Ensure the efficient and accurate documentation of all compounding procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients and healthcare providers
- Collaborate with physicians to provide the best possible patient care
- Maintain compliance with all relevant state and federal laws and regulations
- Train and supervise pharmacy staff members on compounding procedures
- Ensure that all pharmacy policies and procedures are followed
Qualifications:
- Florida Pharmacist License
- Formal compounding training
- Previous experience as a Pharmacist in Charge
- Previous retail experience
- Recent non-sterile compounding experience
- Knowledgeable of basic principles of compounding
- Ability to apply clinical knowledge to compounding procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Ability to supervise and train pharmacy staff members
