Hereford Pharmacy Inc. in Parkton, MD is looking for one pharmacy technician to join our team. We are located on 216 Mt. Carmel Rd.
Responsibilities

*Assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist and in accordance with state and federal regulations. *Provide exceptional service to our patients and customers *Acknowledge customers and patients in a timely fashion and in a sincere manner *Offer assistance with products and services to ensure a positive customer experience *Anticipate and respond to customer and patient needs *Demonstrate an appreciation for customers and patients *Utilize the pharmacy computer system to process prescriptions *Successfully adjudicate prescriptions to third party payers *Prepare medication orders and other healthcare products for patients *Measure dosage of medications, according to prescription orders *Assist with inventory management by ordering, unpacking, and storing medications and supplies *Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including all legal policies *Maintain all required licenses and certifications
Qualifications

*Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English *Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours *PTCB certification preferred, not required *Previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields *Strong analytical and critical thinking skills *Strong attention to detail *Strong organizational skills *Strong computer skills

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $14.50 - $21.00/hour.
