The Software Engineer is responsible for development of internal and client-facing web applications using PHP and JavaScript. This individual will work closely with Product Managers, Senior Software Engineers, and the Quality Assurance team on features, enhancements, and bug fixes. The Software Engineer must understand and demonstrate the principals of the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values while adhering to the policies and procedures established by Resident Interface including maintaining confidentiality.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications with PHP and Vue.js
- Create, maintain, and update microservices and API gateways in languages such as PHP (Laravel) and Node.js
- Write high-quality code designed for scalability and performance
- Collaborate with product management to define, prioritize, and scope business and functional requirements
- Create unit and integrations/systems tests
- Maintain documentation of all applications and systems
- Support in-house applications ensuring rapid response to urgent business issues
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Minimum three (3) years of experience designing and developing applications with PHP and JavaScript
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Scrum, Agile processes, unit testing, and test-driven development experience
- Ability to work assigned schedule. May include Nights, Weekends and Holidays
- High school diploma or GED required
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $51,780.74 - $107,629.90 per year
