Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Physical Therapist for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and we are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now!

• You will perform appropriate assessment on each patient, as related to the therapy requested and provides reassessment per policy.
• You will assist patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while teaching them to live within their limits and capabilities.
• You will demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of physical therapy modalities.
• You will formulate a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluates effectiveness of learning. Family is included in teaching, as appropriate.
• You will maintain performance improvement activities within department.
• You will manage and operates equipment safely and correctly (Maintaining department cleanliness and safety).

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with each of the required areas of expertise in section I
• BS, MS or DPT in Physical Therapy and current Tennessee licensure
• Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patients, staff, physicians and Third Party Payers
• AHA BLS certification required
