Physician Assistant Job at ONE Health Ohio
Come and join our growing team. Currently hiring a Physician Assistant that is responsible to actively help access patient health under the direction of a Physician, while prescribing, record patient vital signs and running diagnostic tests to help determine the source of the patient's symptoms.
The Benefits:
Education/Licensure:
Licensed as Physician Assistant (PA) within the state of Ohio, and have National Commission on Certificate of Physician Assistants. (NCCPA)
Experience:
Previous experience in a healthcare environment is a plus. Basic knowledge of medical terminology, release of information and medical record maintenance activities and billing activities preferred.
Other Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Physician Assistant will perform a variety of duties that require close interaction with patients and their families. Greet patients, gather medical information, give physical exams, document and update patient records and refer patients to specialists as needed.
Must possess interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact and promote exceptional service to our patients, families, physicians, fellow employees and volunteers by displaying attitudes and behaviors that reflect compassion, respect and dignity to everyone we serve. Travel to other sites may be required.
Must be organized with special attention to details, along with being comfortable with computer technology.
Work Hours:
Full time. Generally a 40 hour work week is required as a minimum. Usually 8:30a to 5:00p, Monday -Friday. NO HOLIDAYS. NO EVENINGS!
