Hino assembles medium-duty trucks at its Mineral Wells, West Virginia plant. Its manufacturing facilities in Marion, Arkansas produces axles, knuckles and suspension components for Toyota’s Tacoma, Tundra and Sequoia. Hino’s Parts Distribution Center in Mira Loma, California supplies Latin American and Caribbean distributors with genuine Hino service parts.

We are currently seeking a Pilot Team Specialist located in Mineral Wells, West Virginia reporting directly to the Production Control Manager. This individual will be responsible for administering controls of the Production Control Operations and building teamwork to drive continuous improvement of scheduling processes, control and handling of inventories, and on-time delivery and costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate new model launches and process improvement change points
  • Project Management
  • Support process setup and layout
  • Attend videoconference as required
  • Update the ECI database with new model and parts information
  • Achieve all indicators of success and performance measures for area of responsibility
  • Demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System as it applies to their area of responsibility
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Position requires office presence
  • Perform all other duties assigned

Experience & Education Requirement:

  • Experience with new model setup and launches is preferred
  • Experience with Change Point Planning is preferred
  • Experience with project management preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent years of related experience is preferred

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of -making and project evaluation
  • Ability to read prints
  • Strong MS Outlook, Excel and computer proficiency required
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and under the pressure of deadlines
  • Ability to work in or lead teams throughout decision making process
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be willing and able to perform a variety of tasks in support of the short- and long-term goals
  • Deal effectively with complex and sensitive issues
  • Ability to think in the abstract and see how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and data management skills
  • Must be ambitious and able to work independently

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel up to 15-20%
