Position Summary
As the Health Plan Representative, the incumbent will be the face of Compass Rose Benefits Group. In this role, you will be seeing and talking with members, prospects, gatekeepers, and stakeholders. You will spend time travelling to eligible federal organization, sharing with prospective members the benefits of the health plan.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, sales, marketing or related field
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in the health and/or life insurance field.
- Excellent customer service skills; detail oriented.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive individual and a hard worker.
- Able to build and deliver presentations.
- Knowledge of sales promotion and advertising techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Able to persuade and convince others with poise and tact.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture relationships with Health Benefit Officers of eligible federal organizations and carrier representatives.
- Meet membership growth goals.
- Handle member issues as well as identifying and resolving their concerns.
- Communicate new service and product opportunities, feedback, special developments, or information collected during events; report accordingly.
- Serve as the Medicare and Medicare Advantage expert with a concentration in satisfying our existing retiree membership.
- Prepare schedules, coordinate events and action plans to identify particular targets and track results.
- Present company services and products in a variety of ways to current and prospective clients.
- Follow up on member concerns, referrals and new leads resulting after events.
- Develop and maintain existing product knowledge and fully understand all sales materials / brochures.
- Participate in outreach events such as open season fairs, new hire events, service days, and wellness fairs.
- Develop and implement special outreach activities.
- Provide training to open season participants.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $66,844.36 - $73,100.10 per year
