Rich Ice Cream Company is looking for a Night Facility Manager. The Night Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational activities at night across multiple departments, including: Production, Maintenance, Sanitation, Quality Assurance, and Warehouse. This individual is responsible for management, business unit results, and organizational health across the plant during the night shift. In this capacity, the Night Facility Manager will operate as a liaison between each department's manager and their employees, ensuring production is running smoothly and the facility is ready for morning operations.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or/ability required.

• 5-years' experience supervising, developing, and coaching teams across departmental fields
• 3-years' minimum supervising in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to drive change with a positive attitude
• Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with all team members
• Ability to recruit, lead, coach, and develop employees
• Good verbal and written communication

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure clear direction and priorities for each business unit and that these are aligned with the organizational direction
• Communicate business unit results and needs to senior leadership and departmental leadership
• Develop, coach, lead, and direct team members across multiple departmental fields
• Develop team leaders, shift leaders, and other leadership
• Provide training, coaching, and facilitation
• Oversee the production process on night shift
• Work with Sanitation, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance to ensure downtime is limited and production cost is effective
• Oversee that products are produced on time and are of good quality
• Responsible for liaising amongst departments to ensure night production runs smoothly
• Responsible for liaising amongst departments to ensure maintenance and sanitation of equipment is done timely and properly
• Ensure all staff are following health and safety guidelines, and performing duties safely
• Ensure all staff are adhering and practicing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Sanitation Practices (GSP)
• Other duties as needed/assigned; team player

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Cross functional operations experience with a strong understanding of various plant functions
• Strong drive and initiative to make improvements in a variety of areas with minimum of supervision
• Strong commitment to personal development and growth
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
• Good planning, prioritizing, and organization ability
