Jr. PLC Technician (1 yr. PLC Exp Req, Farmingdale, NY) Description

Our client, a leading company in the equipment manufacturing industry, is looking for a PLC Technician to add to their team in Farmingdale, NY. This is an in-office position and a great opportunity if you have minimal PLC programming experience and are eager to expand your skill set. Working closely with a team of four, you will be responsible for designing and programming electrical control panels for industrial equipment. You'll have the opportunity to learn from the controls engineer and other team members, giving you valuable hands-on experience. To be considered for this role, you must be able to read electrical schematics and have at least one year of PLC programming experience. Jr. PLC Technician (1 yr. PLC Exp Req, Farmingdale, NY) Responsibilities

● Design and program electrical control panels
● Troubleshoot electrical wiring, relays, PLCs, VFDs
● Program PLC controllers according to schematics
● Complete testing and address issues
● Interact with cross-functional teams
● Provide clients with technical support
● Maintain and update technical manuals and documentation
● Travel to food production plants to troubleshoot and set up systems

Jr. PLC Technician (1 yr. PLC Exp Req, Farmingdale, NY) Qualifications

● PLC programming experience required
● Hands-on experience with wiring using basic hand tools required
● Ability to work onsite required
