Overview:Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve as the Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) Enterprise Project Team Position-Specific SME.
• Lead the delivery of CNRMC WFD PT specific courses IAW developed curriculum across the RMC Enterprise as required by the CNRMC WFD LRTP.
• Lead instructors are expected to adapt instructional strategies to meet student needs using a variety of instructional strategies to meet different learning styles.

• This position includes at least two trips per month.

Education, Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required*

• Minimum 10 years’ experience with Navy Surface Ship Repair and Modernization and Regional Maintenance Center Project Team roles and responsibilities (15 years preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering classroom instruction.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience with COMUSFLTFORCOM INST 4790.3, Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) (15 years preferred).
• Minimum 10 Years’ Navy Maintenance Database (NMD) (15 years preferred).
• Minimum 10 Years’ NAVSEA Contracting Policy/Strategy (15 years preferred).
• Minimum 10 Years’ RMC Project Team roles and responsibilities (15 years preferred).
• Minimum 10 Years’ NAVSEA Standard Items (NSI) (15 years preferred).

Qualifications*

• Active DoD Secret security clearance is highly desired however candidates who are eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance will be considered. If the selected candidate does not hold an active clearance, he/she will receive a contingent offer. A start date will be established once an interim Secret clearance is granted.

Physical Requirements*

• Ability to frequently traverse stairs.
• Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling.
• Reaching, handling, and using equipment, keyboards, and mobile devices.
• Lifting boxes (files and supplies) up to 20 lbs.
