Position Description:
Forefront Living is developing a brand- new continuing care retirement community in San Antonio, Texas named Bella Vida at La Cantera. We are seeking exceptional candidates for the Sales and Marketing team.
The Community Liaison is responsible for identifying and developing key referral sources. Experience with conducting presentations to area referral sources and establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers is required. Knowledge of entrance fee independent living is preferred. Candidates must be able to manage their schedules while participating in regularly scheduled sales meetings, trainings and seminars.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, or equivalent, with minimum 2 years in Healthcare, preferably in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing
Knowledge and basic understanding of CMS regulatory admission requirements for medical necessity for skilled level of care. Knowledge of insurance and managed care verification
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, exercising good judgement and discretion
Exceptional interpersonal skills; proficiency with listening, conflict resolution, and tactful negotiation with ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes
Experience effectively supervising others demonstrating leadership expertise
Excellent written and verbal communication skills both with internal and external customers
Ability to comfortably interact and develop relationships in new and unfamiliar environments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated techniques for relationship building and census development
Ability to handle multiple duties simultaneously with superior organizational, strategic planning, and prioritization skills
Ability to sense and relate observations to business opportunities
Demonstrated ability to anticipate and resolve issues.
Ability to travel throughout the service area and/or perspective service area to establish and maintain client relationships
MS Office tools with knowledge of computer systems, communication tools and software
Genuine compassion for and interest in the care of mature adults, ill and/or debilitated patients, as well as hospice patients and their families.
Ability to perform work tasks within the Physical Demand Requirements as outlined below

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Primarily travel throughout service area, making calls on current and perspective clients independently and as group

WORK PACE: Steady and demanding

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Models a service attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, patients and co-workers
Ensure resident/patient, visitor, and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards
Maintain good attendance record
Create awareness of organization and rehab (inpatient and outpatient) services through events, lecture series, presentations and one-on-one contact and relationship building with community resources and industry associations
Monitor competitors services and marketing activities
Prepare marketing activity reports, as assigned, and present to various committees as requested
Facilitate resident discharge from hospital and complete assessment paperwork Attend staff meetings as required
Communicate to internal groups on external customer expectations, i.e. clear details, critical timelines, and customer expectations
Track and report on the status of all new business development activities, existing customer satisfaction, new customers
Establish and maintain on-going relationships to anticipate and resolve potential problems
Maintain up-to-date working files for all customers/clients
Create and build customer relationships and locate new opportunities, by visiting existing and new customers
Maintain industry knowledge by attending educational workshops or classes; reviewing related publications; and establishing networks
Ensure customer satisfaction through being responsive to customers needs and following through on all aspects of request, both written and verbal
Work closely with interdisciplinary team, and provide information of market conditions and current competition
Create and make presentations and/or in-services to various groups internally and externally as needed or assigned or required per agreement
Other duties as assigned by Director of Healthcare Operations/Administrator and Executive Director
