Preschool Director Job at Woodlands Montessori School

Assist the director with the daily operation of the school.
Build positive and effective rapport with parents and a supportive, collaborative work environment with the staff.
Ability to interact with children in a positive and loving manner.
Drive and support enrollment process by providing timely and accurate information to prospective families, schedule tours of the school, process newly enrolled students.
Provide and process all other necessary paperwork required.
Handle inventory tracking and ordering. Maintaining adequate supplies for the school at all times.
Assist with planning, organizing and executing events, parties and celebrations.
Ability to coordinate necessary requests and information to and from vendors.
Ensuring the opening and closing procedures are followed consistently.
Ensuring the school and grounds are neat and tidy and in good repair at all times.
Maintain a solid working and up to date knowledge of all federal, state and local statutes and laws pertaining to early childhood education.
Experience & Skills:
Management experience in a childcare setting preferred but not required.
Minimum two years of experience working with children in a professional environment.
Must demonstrate a professional and positive demeanor.
Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
Must have critical thinking skills, be flexible and a team player.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on results.
Must be a self starter and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize duties as needed.
Completion of The Department of Children and Families (DCF) 40 hour online training program related to early childhood education.
Director's credential and Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) Certification a plus but not required.
Must be 21 years of age.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
