New Hope CDO was established 23yrs. ago and has been thriving ever since and contiues to grow.
We are looking to hire someone who has experience with young children. Looking for these qualities in a teacher:
reliable/dependable
works well with others, all personality types
good attitude
organized
has Christian beliefs/values, maintains a Christ-centered view and attitude
capable of working with all ages, 6 months-5yrs. old
physically able to get down on the floor with children if need be
creative in making up lesson plans, crafts, and activities based on themes
being CPR/First Aid Certified is encouraged but not mandatory
Some responsibilities include:
diaper changing, toilet training help
cleaning up messes when needed and keeping items sanitized
maintaining a clean and healthy classroom/environment
help kids settle down for rest time
help with or plan crafts and activities- age appropriate
communicates with parents/families in a respectable and positive way
help kids problem solve
uses positive reinforcement to deal with behavior issues that may arise
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $60.00 per day
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Early Childhood General Education Teachers: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
Work Location: One location
