The Prior Authorization External Content Manager will be accountable for the capability management, implementation, support, and maintenance of OptumRx clients on external facing Prior Authorization platforms. This role will lead and guide the work efforts of the OptumRx External Facing Prior Authorization Content Management Team. The Prior Authorization External Content Manager is responsible for leading a team to identify resources in alignment with project priorities, driving collaboration and decisions across multiple levels of business, client, and IT partners to meet and exceed our client expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Guide the work efforts of the OptumRx External Facing Prior Authorization Content Management Team
- Sets goals and expectations for direct reports and manages toward achieving.
- Facilitates weekly one on ones and works with team on progressing career path
- Tracks and resolves any defects related to configurations performed by Content Management Team
- Partners with stakeholders to enable successful prioritization, delivery, and adoption of capability
- Serves as capability expert to support inquiries and sales support inquiries
- Communicate and collaborate with IT, business, vendor and client leadership
- Identify and influence team resources in alignment with product portfolio needs to ensure a successful client implementation
- Identify areas of capability that require development to meet client needs
- Manage projects and sets expectations to ensure alignment with stakeholders on delivery
- Utilizes data to ensure opportunities are measurable and impact of changes can be measured using data

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of Capability/Content management experience engaging with technology partners, business stakeholders, vendors and clients
- 2+ years experience within a healthcare setting
- 2+ years of experience managing a team
- Proven experience communicating effectively and influencing others to drive collaboration, alignment and focus at all levels and across lines of business
- Experience using RxClaim
- Experience in project management
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- You will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s US Telecommuting Policy
Preferred Qualifications:
- PBM experience
- Utilization Review experience
- Product development and management experience
- Client implementation experience
- Experience with Prior Authorization platforms

Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, or New York City Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $90,500 to $161,600. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
