Job Summary

As a Product Analyst I with ISC, you will be responsible for providing analytical support for strategic initiatives; manipulating large data sets, assisting with the automation or reoccurring reports, and creating innovative visualizations to communicate patterns and trends across various post-production technologies and formats.

Position Responsibilities

  • Extraction
    • Understand data sources from various 1st and 3rd party systems.
    • Determine how best to articulate data into manageable data sets
  • Validation
    • Utilize current data validation rulesets to ensure that data matches expected financial reporting outputs, including actuarial, accounting, and production metrics
  • Analysis
    • Combine outputs and incorporate variety of menu-based reporting tools along with more advanced methods including but not limited to SQL, Python, R and Power BI
  • Organization
    • Assist the Director of Product Analysis with creating and maintaining proper documentation to organize and track all output items, times allocated, and capitalized expenses

Qualifications

  • Required
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent preferred
    • Advanced MS Excel experience - complex functions, design and create complex, multi-part spreadsheet templates
    • Proficient in heavy data entry workload
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, and data management applications
    • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Desired
    • Power BI experience - reporting, building dashboards, analyzing datasets
    • Experience writing SQL, Python and/or R scripts, queries, and stored procedures to extract data

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, five day per week position. The expectation is 4 days per week in-office.

Pay and Benefits

The starting pay scale for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 hourly. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience. In addition, the company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with match, paid time off, and other benefits.
